Warrenville’s History and Location

In the present, it is one of the best places to live in Illinois, but it was first founded in the year 1833 when the New Yorker Daniel Warren and his family moved west and claimed the land with his son, Julius Warren, who then claimed the area that is now the Warrenville Grove Forest Preserve.
